Late-Night Turfs in Pune and Nashik: Who Stays Open Past Midnight

As of 22 October 2026, 109 of the 270 Pune turfs on TapTurf with usable listed hours say they are open 24 hours, and 181 (67%) stay open until midnight or later on at least one day. In Nashik, 12 of 53 list 24 hours and 28 (53%) reach midnight or later. For most other turfs the latest listed closing time is 11 pm.

How many Pune and Nashik turfs are open late?

TapTurf lists 291 active turfs in Pune and 63 in Nashik today. Hours are listed for 273 of the Pune turfs and 55 of the Nashik turfs. We left out a further three Pune and two Nashik listings whose closing time reads '12 pm', because it is unclear whether that means noon or midnight. That leaves 270 Pune turfs and 53 Nashik turfs in the numbers below.

The biggest difference between the two cities is the 24-hour group: about 40% of Pune turfs with usable hours list it, against about 23% in Nashik. Among turfs that do not list 24 hours, the typical latest closing time is 11 pm in both cities, and a similar share (about 45% in Pune, 39% in Nashik) keep going until midnight or later.

Floodlights are close to universal where we have the data. All 46 Nashik turfs with a floodlight field filled in have floodlights, as do 124 of 125 such Pune turfs. Most listings do not have this field yet, so check the turf page or ask.

Which Pune areas have the most 24-hour turfs?

Counting only turfs with usable hours, Hadapsar has 7 of 9 listed as 24 hours, and Hinjewadi has 7 of 11 (adding together the two spellings, Hinjewadi and Hinjawadi, used in our data). All 3 Baner turfs and 4 of 6 in Ravet list 24 hours. Kothrud has the most turfs in this group, 13, but only 3 of them list 24 hours, and Wakad has 2 of 10.

Where can you play late in Nashik?

Nashik's 24-hour list is short and spread out. The 12 turfs listing 24 hours include two in Deolali and one each in areas such as Satpur, Makhmalabad, Mahiravni, Matori and MIDC Ambad. None of the four Pathardi turfs with usable hours lists 24 hours, though two of them close at midnight. All three Panchavati turfs close at 11:30 pm or later, and both Govind Nagar turfs close at 11 pm.

What about early mornings?

If your squad plays before work rather than after it, the numbers are similar in both cities. Among turfs that do not list 24 hours, the typical earliest opening time is 6 am. 40 of 160 such Pune turfs and 7 of 41 in Nashik open at 5 am or earlier on at least one day. The 24-hour turfs above are, on paper, available at any time.

What should you check before booking a late slot?

1. Confirm the slot, not just the hours. Message or call the venue and ask whether the exact time you want is free and staffed.
2. Ask if the late rate is different. Some venues price late night and early morning differently from the evening peak, and listed prices may not show it.
3. Check the lights. Ask whether all floodlights stay on for the full slot, especially after midnight.
4. Plan the ride home. Late slots end when buses are thin, so agree on transport or car-pooling before you book.
5. Look after the basics. Carry water, warm up properly when it is cooler at night, and stop if anyone feels unwell.
