Three things stand out. Southern cities mostly come in cheaper than northern ones on this data: Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Kochi and Chennai all sit at or below ₹1,000, while Delhi, Dehradun, Gurgaon and Noida are all at ₹1,200 or more. Hyderabad, with the largest priced sample at 331 venues, has a median of only ₹900. And Mumbai, often assumed to be the costliest, comes in at ₹1,250, below Dehradun and Delhi, though only 19 of its 188 listings show a price.

About this data

  • Source: TapTurf database, 23 October 2026, queried read-only the same day.
  • Threshold: only cities with at least 10 active venues showing a listed hourly price are included. 14 cities qualify.
  • Each venue can list up to six hourly rates (morning, afternoon and evening, weekday and weekend). Medians, lowest and highest are across all listed rates in a city, not one rate per venue.
  • Prices are as listed on TapTurf, not confirmed by owners. Listings are compiled mainly from Google Maps and similar public sources.
  • Coverage varies. Mumbai shows a price on 19 of 188 listings and Delhi on 21 of 104, so their medians rest on small samples.
  • Per-head figures are the city median divided by 14 (7-a-side) or 12 (box cricket), rounded. They are illustrations, not quotes.
